So many yet to do...

I have so many quilts in my head and on my list of people to make for. My goal for this year is to make all of them!

Block of the month

I started a block of the month in September and I am really enjoying looking foreward to each month and making the newest block. I think just belonging to a group makes it special. I would love to join more :) Maybe after Em's quilt is done.

Emily's quilt

I am working on a quilt for my two year old granddaughter Emily. The pattern came from American Patchwork and Quilting magazine, Feb 2012 issue. It looked to me like it would be a little tedious sewing all the sashing around each rectangle and square,but it was super fast! Chain sewing made it really quick.

I want to get it done before she goes in the hospital to get her tonsils out, and it is proving to be a real challenge. I decided to do random scrolls and loops with occasional hearts in the quilting. I am halfway done and almost wish I would have just done 1 inch lines on the whole thing. But, it is too late to change now and so on go :)

When am I going to make a perfect quilt?
